South Dublin County Council to launch new Integration Strategy

Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Cllr. Mark Ward, will officially launch South Dublin County Council’s Integration Strategy 2019 – 2023; ‘A More Inclusive County’ on Monday 29 April 2019 at 5.30 pm in County Hall, Tallaght. The strategy sets out a clear vision for making our county a truly inclusive society.

The Strategy is a welcome step in recognising the difficulties members of the migrant community face.  It identifies actions we need to do and targets we need to reach to encourage and enable migrants to play an active part in every day life.

Light refreshments will be served.

This is an invite only event but you if you wish to attend please contact the Social Inclusion Unit on the details below.

Record Store Day

Record Store Day

Record Store Day was formed in 2007 to celebrate the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores around the world. In April 2008 the first Record Store Day was celebrated and it’s a yearly event. In some cities in the United States the Record Store Day even became an official holiday. It’s a day for the staff, the customers, and artists to celebrate together the unique culture of a record store and the outstanding role these independently owned stores play in their communities. Various promotional products are made exclusively for the Record Store Day including special vinyl & CD releases. You will also find performances, meet & greets with artists, parades, cook-outs, body painting and lots more.
