The Monday Club: Tongue in Chic


Tongue In Chic are madly obsessed with Nile Rodgers (Chic) and everything he’s created! Inspired by his work and collaborators, there will be a mix of his best hits, with the best of 80s pop, disco and modern dance.

21 Drums Clinic


Following on from what was easily the biggest clinic to date, 21 Drums are delighted to announce the return of Mark Guiliana, Mike Johnston and Ash Soan, along with the new addition of legend Robert “Sput” Searight for this year’s clinic in Dublin’s Button Factory.

Stephen Robinson with Oh Bryan and Stina O'Neill


Known as the former front-man of iconic Dublin band Angels of Mons and later The Laundry Shop, Robinson has well paid his Rock ‘n’ Roll dues, extensively touring, playing large festivals and releasing 3 albums to much critical acclaim.

After an extended period in L.A. and New York, while working with multi-platinum award winning producers David Bendeth and Dan Korneff, the pressure of keeping a steady line-up on the road led Robinson to take the solo route.

Cathal Flaherty


Killarney singer songwriter Cathal Flaherty makes his return to Whelan’s since the launch of his debut EP in 2018. Cathal has enjoyed national success with his EP landing in No. 2 in the iTunes Album Charts.

His songs have been featured regularly on national radio including 2FM, Today FM & RTÉ Radio 1. His song A Thousand Miles was recently named a finalist in the International songwriting contest – one of the most coveted songwriting contests in the world.

Watson ACE


Watson ACE have taken a date out of their busy, individual schedules for a one off, summer show at Lost Lane Wednesday 21st August. A mesmerising 6 piece musical collective, Watson ACE, fronted by songwriter Colm Lynch, is made up of the finest musicians Ireland has to offer: Aonghus Ralston and Tom Domican make up the super tight and always funky rhythm section.

Russell Smyth on keys sprinkles magic dust all over Lynch’s songs. And in case that wasn’t enough, Watson ACE boasts not one, but two lead guitarists in Pete Maguire and Brian de Grás (Brian Downey’s Alive and Dangerous, Andrew Strong Band).

Pauric O'Meara


Pauric is an independent singer songwriter from Tipperary, who is based in Dublin. He gained popularity around Ireland from his presence on the Voice of Ireland in 2016.

Once finished college, Pauric moved to Dublin as a primary school teacher and tried to break his way into the Dublin music scene. After 2 years of balancing both, Pauric decided to turn his back on teaching and pursue music full time. He has built up a strong following as an independent artist and has new music ready to release in the near future.

Electric Shore are a three piece indie rock band from Ratoath, Co.Meath, Ireland.

Stiff Littles Fingers


Stiff Little Fingers were formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland. Along with the likes of the Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Buzzcocks, et al, Stiff Little Fingers were at the forefront of the punk movement. They wrote initially about their own lives, growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, in songs like “Suspect Device” and “Wasted Life”.

The Other Favorites & Reina del Cid


Reina del Cid is a singer songwriter and leader of the eponymous folk rock band based in Minnesota. Her song-a-week video series, Sunday Mornings with Reina del Cid, has amassed 24 million views on YouTube. In collaboration with guitarist Toni Lindgren, the duo will tour Europe and the United States with their acoustic set including sometimes hard-hitting rock ballads and catchy pop riffs.

The Other Favorites is the long time duo project of Carson McKee and Josh Turner. Perhaps best known for their performances on YouTube, which have garnered millions of views. Together, Turner and McKee bring their shared influences of folk, bluegrass and classic rock into a modern framework; one distinguished by incisive songwriting, virtuosic guitar work and tight two-part harmony.
