Roberto Castello / ALDES

Roberto Castello / ALDES

In this enigmatically titled work, We go around at night and are consumed by fire, controversial Italian choreographer Roberto Castello fuses cinema, dance and theatre to offer insights into a life fueled by endless desire.

Four dancers move together, never communicating directly, yet finding small moments of contact, even tenderness. They openly struggle with the brusque and emotional movements. Like characters in a Beckett play, they are relentlessly driven to carry on.

Aiken Promotions Presents - Men I Trust

Men I Trust

Part of EASTBOUND ,  a new music festival all about capturing the spirit of new and breaking artists.

Men I Trust is an indie band from Montreal (Canada) composed of Jessy (bass/ guitar), Dragos (keyboards) and Emma (vocals/ guitar). With smooth, chin-bouncing rhythms & bass lines, warm guitars and alluringly subdued vocals, longevity – in all its forms – is an underlying theme in their craft. At its most spacious, listening to Men I Trust feels like you’re gliding on a never-ending wave; at its tightest, they still provide pockets of time to catch your breath.
