Due to continuing government restrictions and guidelines from N.P.H.E.T, Ringsend & Irishtown Community Centre will be hosting a Virtual May Day Parade again on 3rd May 2021. It will be featured live on the RICC Facebook page from 3pm-6pm.
As part of the festival, The RICC are inviting you to draw a heart on a yellow card which they will supply and they will display all of the hearts on the gates at the rear of the centre where the livestream is taking place. They are asking for people to write a positive message on their heart using the theme “Together Again” and what you are looking forward to most when we can all get back together safely again. RICC are hoping to spread a message of positivity in what is such a difficult time for everyone.
When your “heart” is finished you can drop them into the Community Centre or they can collect them from you. They will then laminate them and place them at the Centre with your group name for the May Day Festival.
